The mainstream media is hell-bent on forcing the narrative that Donald Trump is disliked by the minority communities, especially the Black community. Yet in state after state and town after town, we are seeing throngs of minority demographic supporters coming out for his candidacy.
Pastors, civil rights leaders, and activists of every minority faction have come out in support of Donald Trump but the mainstream media ignored their endorsements and their reasoning. One such endorsement came during an FOX News interview with Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “It sounds very promising, the plan that Mr. Trump is presenting for the urban community,” King said in giving her endorsement of the GOP nominee.

Endorsements like Alveda King’s, a direct bloodline and ideological descendant from the Civil Rights leader, who changed the racial landscape of the United States, is significant. It is validation of Trump’s anti-racist mind-set at a time when he is being illegitimately branded a racist by his opponents for purely political reasons.
“I would like to see our Black young men and women get out of jail, get back to work, and get back to school,” Kind said. “It sounds very promising, the plan that Mr. Trump is presenting for the urban community, because right now many of our urban communities are overrun with Democrat leaders – like mayors and all that kind of thing – there’s a lot of trouble in those cities.”
There is more truth to that statement than can be expounded upon. Almost every major urban area in the United States is run by the Democrat Party. Worse, the Democrat Party in every urban area they hold in their control is being – or has been – taken over by Progressives.
In a nutshell, Progressives believe that government is the solution to everything. They have no problem with government touching any and every aspect of your life. To illustrate this point I will quote from Hillary Clinton’s book, It Takes a Village: “I believe the primary role of the state is to teach, train and raise children. Parents have a secondary role.”
This is the ideological mindset that King speaks of when she talks about Democrats being in control of the major urban centers. Progressives, presenting as Democrats, have instituted policies that for years have served to cripple the individualism of the minority communities, especially the Black community.
Where Hillary Clinton has the unmitigated gall to say that Donald Trump has abused minorities his entire life (an unfounded accusation that the media just let slide without challenge), Trump’s platform for our urban areas is to create atmospheres that are crime free and that present opportunity; opportunity to live, learn, work, thrive, and survive.
Democrat and Progressive policies, on the other hand, have only served to facilitate dependency on government, enabling a victimhood mentality that fosters resentment and cultivates hate. The Progressive policies currently in place in our failing urban centers have failed the minority community completely.
As Alveda King said of Donald Trump’s platform, “I believe that…the platform that can put America back to work, back to church, back to school, and make us healthy again, I believe that’s an excellent platform.”
And that is Donald Trump’s platform.
