In an honest and respectable move, Kid Rock says he is looking to find out if people actually support his ideas, or if they are interested in his campaign because it’s fresh news. Recent polling has the answer.
Kid Rock’s latest announcement on his campaign website states, “We will be scheduling a press conference in the next six weeks or so to address this issue amongst others, and if I decide to throw my hat in the ring for US Senate, believe me… it’s game on [explitive deleted].”
“One thing is for sure though…The democrats are ‘shattin’ in their pantaloons’ right now…and rightfully so!”
Indeed, Republicans and Democrats in the state are troubled. Polling from Trafalgar Group shows that Rock is ahead of the other Republican candidates by a huge margin, The Daily Caller reported.
Polling also shows that Rock would likely win the Senate seat. The number is within the margin of error, but the race is more than a year away, and many are currently undecided.
There is huge optimism around Rock’s run for a good reason. He has been talking to average Michiganians to get their perspective on politics in the state.
As a result of these conversations, Rock feels that too many of his fellows, who are disenchanted with both parties, are not registered to vote.
Rock has proven he strives to be truly in touch with the people and cares about their engagement with the political system–even if he’s not running.
Rock’s first order of business is to get people registered to vote. He’s starting a non-profit foundation to further the cause, and, for now, all of the proceeds from his potential campaign’s merchandise sales will go toward the non-profit.
If he decides to run, Rock could be a great ally in the Senate for President Trump. Not only has he come out in support of the President, but Rock is also selling Trump-themed merchandise.
For those who might think Rock’s business acumen undermines how serious his campaign would be, Rock’s reply is that politicians make money off their political careers too– they just lie about it.
It’s better that a politician’s wealth comes from entertainment and the honest sale of goods–patriotic goods, at that–instead of selling their power to the highest bidder.
You can be sure a rich man like Kid Rock isn’t about to make a deal with Russia to sell off our uranium. That alone makes him a great candidate.
