CONFIRMED – Russia ‘Spy’ Story Was a Total HOAX, Media Fell For It [DETAILS]

The mainstream media fell for the ultimate fake news story yesterday! The rush to be first should never supersede fact checking, at least not for professional journalists!

Buzzfeed News published a shocking breaking “news” story on Tuesday night blaming President-Elect Donald Trump for a whole slate of bizarre sexual antics in Russia, except not a single word of it was true. The United States intelligence community now has a massive black eye, and the reliability of their reporting process has been called into question… again.

Claims have now surfaced on Reddit that 4chan users made the entire salacious story up and then mailed it to anti-Trump Republican strategist Rick Wilson. THEN, Wilson took the tall tale to the CIA, which then included it in an intelligence report dossier, which was ultimately published as fact.

A 4chan post, shared prior to Donald Trump defeating Hillary Clinton, matches up almost identically with the Trump erotic fiction that made its way into a CIA report yesterday, Townhall reports. 4chan is nothing more than an online bulletin board where absolutely anyone can post any information and photos they want to share with the public, just like other social media hubs.

4chan surely isn’t considered a reliable source by the CIA and United States intelligence community, is it? WikiLeaks stated in a now viral tweet that the Buzzfeed story about President-Elect Trump is “not an intelligence report,” and nothing in the style or markers of the document are at all consistent with any past official intelligence reports issued by intelligence agencies.

“Fake news  – a total political witch hunt,” Donald Trump tweeted about the now debunked intelligence report and the media’s coverage of the president-elect’s supposed antics in Moscow. Rick Wilson claims 4chan was not his source for the unsubstantiated claims shared with the CIA. The anti-Trump activist alleges it was only Buzzfeed’s source — yet the details are identical?

The supposed intelligence dossier was compiled by an individual who claimed to be a former British intelligence official, Buzzfeed claims. Allegations in the fake news story claim the Russian government has been “cultivating, supporting, and assisting” Donald Trump for many years and garnered compromising information about him which could be used to blackmail the president-elect.

CNN fell for the fake news story. The cable network, which has long been in the shadow of Fox News in the ratings war, apparently cast journalism ethics aside. CNN presented unverified information from a third party unknown source as an authentic report.

CNN reported the two-page synopsis of the supposed intelligence report was given to both President Barack Obama and President-Elect Donald Trump. Reince Priebus has now thoroughly debunked the notion Trump was ever handed such a report.

“Now, BuzzFeed News is publishing the full document so that Americans can make up their own minds about allegations about the president-elect that have circulated at the highest levels of the U.S. government,” an excerpt from the breaking “news” story by the website read.

No mainstream media outlet would have given a single inch of space or moment of air time to an unverified report, so We the People could make up our own minds about a fable spun by foes, if Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton had been the target of the dossier!
