Hillary Clinton is struggling to overcome Bernie Sander’s momentum as Donald Trump gears up to take on the former First Lady in the general election fight.
“And he has, you know, great nights and he can be presidential, but sometimes he cannot stand that somebody attacks him because if somebody attacks him, he will punch back 10 times harder,” Melania Trump said, according to a Washington Examiner report.
Clinton has recently been complaining about Sanders’ “tone” and was caught on video urging a union boss to help bolster excitement for her campaign and another time losing her composure with an environmental activist questioning her about donations from the fuel industry.
Hillary Clinton must prepare herself to withstand tough verbal counter-punches by Trump on the debate stage or concede the race before voters ever get the change to head to the ballot box.
The career politician has never before encountered a blunt, bold street fighter like Trump.
Melania’s assessment of her husband was right on. He will not hold to traditional political courtesies and shy away from direct and repeated hits when he battles Hillary during the race for the White House.
America needs, wants, and deserves a strong leader who is willing to be brutally honest when engaging opponents in every form.
Unless we put Trump in the White House the business-as-usual mindset will remain in Washington and the country will continue on its downward spiral and away from the freedom-infusing principles this once great nation was founded upon!
