There is no question this country has been infiltrated by the far-left. If you were expecting President Obama to engage in a civil discourse with the president-elect, then I am afraid you are sadly mistaken.
The lame-duck president went to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida and addressed the troops. In a move that can only be described as taking a lot of nerve, Obama actually urged the troops to “criticize” the incoming president and “question his authority,” as per Breitbart.
No one, especially not in the military, is supposed to “question” the authority of the president!
You may criticize him in the media or as a private citizen, but not if you’re acting as a member of our military! Generals and high ranking officials give the president options and advice, but his final decision is not to be questioned! As a commander-in-chief himself, Obama should know that!
The president characterized the military’s mission as a fight against “violent extremism,” which is true. The problem is the president seems to view Donald Trump as not his legitimate successor but as a man who is set to open the door to fascism.
That’s obviously false, but Obama is willing to undermine the chain-of-command in our military to make his false point!
The problem is that the president is continuing to show he has totally lost touch with reality. Besides his incitement of an armed rebellion, he also equated terrorism with global warming and the Second Amendment.
“Somebody who is trying to kill and willing to be killed is dangerous, particularly when we live in a country where it’s very easy for that person to buy a very powerful weapon,” Obama said during his speech. They also don’t care if they get that weapon illegally, Mr. President, but I digress.
Of course, besides trying to incite violence against the new president, Obama also gave himself some praise over his efforts to stop online terror recruiters. “We’ve worked with our tech sector to support efforts to push back on terrorist messages on social media that motivate people to kill.”
Well, I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but these efforts to limit online radicalization do not seem to be working. San Bernardino is just one example. It’s funny how people say it is Trump who is the egotist when Obama loves to point out his commitment to protecting our country from terrorism even though he failed it.
Consider Timothy McVeigh. That’s right, this extremist was in the military at one time, and although he was on the extreme right, there could easily be people on the far left who will take Obama’s words to heart and act unconscionably.
Putting two and two together, you see from Obama’s extreme politically correct nature that he could easily inspire someone to unseemly activities. Remember, our president is a man who offered condolences to the Cuban people after Fidel Castro’s passing.
There is no question it is the height of ignorance for this president to claim that someone will need to “rise up” against his successor. He can’t get out of the Oval Office soon enough.
