Donald Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, spoke for the first time on the campaign trail after the GOP front-runner’s big win in South Carolina.
“She’s a very, very brilliant woman,” Trump said about the potential next First Lady, during an interview with CNN. said, “She was tremendously successful before I met her. She also is a very private woman, and there’s something very nice about that.”
Many folks know Melania Trump was a supermodel before she married Donald Trump, but few may have realized that she is also a successful entrepreneur who attended the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, where she studied both design and architecture.
Mrs. Trump has also been active with the Police Athletic League. The group honored her as their “Woman of the Year” in 2006. Melanie is also an honorary chairwoman for the Boys Club of New York and was named as the Goodwill Ambassador by American Red Cross.
Donald Trump said asking Melania to speak was a spur of the moment decision after the South Carolina win. She has not yet been prominent on the campaign trail and has been busy parenting the couple’s 9-year-old son, Barron, while her husband tours the country doing his part to make America great again.
Unlike native-born Michelle Obama, Melania seems very patriotic and proud of our great nation. 44’s wife rarely ever has a smile on her face. She joined him on his apology tour around the globe and seems to be the happiest when lecturing the American people about our historic values, how we eat, what we drive, how we heat our homes, and the way brave local heroes do their job to protect our communities.
Those who have bashed Trump and called him a hypocrite for marrying an immigrant have completely ignored one very important distinction about Mrs. Trump’s immigration status – she came here legally!
The stark contract between Michelle Obama and Melania Trump could not be more apparent. Although Mrs. Trump’s beauty is the most obvious difference between the two women, but it is her embracing of the American people and genuine love for our country that truly separates the current and future First Lady of the United States.
