Trump’s joint address to Congress was simply astounding. Liberals are running scared and only now realize why Americans voted for him and embraced him as OUR president.
“It was one of the best speeches in that setting that I’ve heard any president give” Chris Wallace stated after Trump gave his speech, and in that he included Reagan, who Wallace earlier said had “reinvented” the joint session speech.

Wallace is absolutely right — the president’s speech was phenomenal. Despite the attempts by the mainstream media to take down Trump, he wound up the winner — over and over again.
“Thirty-six years ago, Ronald Reagan reinvented the speech to the joint session of Congress address,” Wallace said about the transition of the speech introduced by Reagan. President Reagan was the first to invite guests into the gallery and added a deeply emotional component to the otherwise dry speeches.
Chris Wallace discussed how it was Ronald Reagan who turned the speech to the joint session of Congress into an address that also spoke to the American people. In keeping with Trump’s desire to talk to the American people, he continued with that tradition.
President Trump kept completely true to his beliefs, bolstered his base, and most likely gained more than a few converts. Even those who would still not vote for Trump had to have their minds at least a little wider to the possibility he is going to make America great again… as promised.

When President Trump doubled down on his vow to repeal and replace Obamacare, everyone but the Democrats cheered with delight. I am so looking forward to being able to afford insurance again and not worrying on a daily basis if one serious illness or accident will cost us all we have worked so hard to build.
After eight long years, it was thoroughly exciting to see Trump at the podium and two patriots seated behind him representing the patriotic GOP majority.
We have been fighting a war on terrorism since September 11, 2001. Last night was the FIRST time an American president ever dared to utter the phrase “radical Islamic terrorism” in a joint address to Congress.
